Ethanol only is good for the farmers who get paid generously via taxpayer subsidies. It gives your car less mpg & power.

Hey NASCAR fans. NASCAR uses E15....has logged over a 1,000,000 miles on it! Ethanol is 117 octane...higher then premium!

BANISH THE FILTH!!! EtOH in gas has got ta GO!!! This article is total horsesh!t... i.e. "as moving to E15 results in reduced dependence on foreign oil" E10 has proven that we are using MORE oil to operate our vehicles due to less overall E (energy) in our polluted gas...

Oh joy; the lobbyists who bribe the congressmen are forcing crappy fuel on us.
And duffee01, what does this article have to do with GM selling cars to the Government? You would want the Government to buy foreign cars instead? The Federal Government buys cars from all the domestic manufacturers. And doesn't Mississippi receive $1.84 from Washington for every dollar paid in taxes to the Federal Government? For the record, almost every red state receives far more from than it sends to Washington. Another inconvenient truth that you'll never hear on FOXNews.

Has anyone seen the report that GM's profits are caused by the federal government buying so many vehicles from them. They are trying to give a $10,000.00 tax credit for people to buy Volts, 10 Billion dollars worth. That's TAX DOLLARS going out the window and not coming back.

Great...More crap mileage while paying extra taxes to make the crap viable.
Time to vote those for "Farming States" out for the greater good I would think.
And you can lower your food bill in the process!

hatterasjack,
Then you should continue buying E0/E10 instead of E15. Since your vehicles aren't currently compatible.

I hope this E15 doesn't fly. None of my 4 vehicles is capable of using it. I just had the fuel pump replaced on my '90 Daytona and I blame it on E10, which is about all I can get around here.
