Cavs will never regain their power after LBJ left the town. Owner stupidly blaimed LBJ as traitor. Do you really believe there's loyalty in the league? Then Allen Iverson's trade would never happen if that were true. Those owners never hesitate when they're planning to kick those players without values out of team.

Well, Cavs complete the La-La sweep! Beat the Lakers 104-99!
Now all they'll need to do is beat the teams from the other 28 NBA cities!

C.S. So you are saying the Cavs have some hope? I hope so. I guess Byron Scott reamed the tam out finally. Probably should have happened weeks ago. They really need a player to step up and be the floor leader.

26 in a row! Next are the Clippers at home before Sunday's showdown with the road-winless Wizards. That's a game the Cavs should win, since Wash. has a game the night before vs. the Spurs.

25 in a row! If they lose to the Pistons this week, then the real fun will come on Sunday, when they host the Wizards, who are winless on the road! Is it possible for BOTH teams to lose that game?

One of those teams might be good again in 2013, even two. Cleveland teams avoid greatness like the plauge.

In a couple years we'll be good again. The Cavs, Indians and Browns in the playoffs at the same time? Could happen in 2013.

as the Cavs had shown in the past for a "team" to become a full "team" especially with the majority of the players new to the team takes about a year to jell Miami went thru basically the same thing at the beginning of the season only with 3 superstars it was much easier especially with LBJ on the team "he" is the leader just as he was with the Olympic team "he" is the one that brought them together. Don't get me wrong, but I do think he went about his leaving Cleve in the wrong way, but he is still one of the greatest players the NBA has ever seen

I think this year's Cavs team is worse than last year's Nets team. Actually, I'm quite certain of it...

Maybe the Cavs have a rough year, but then they'll have a shot at taking Harrison Barnes, 6-8, 210lb small forward out of North Carolina. He is supposed to be a Lebron type player.

griff: do you think the Cavs even have a shot at the playoffs this season? I mean, I think the Knicks now have a better shot than the Cavs do. And that's bad. The rest of the playoff contenders from the '09-'10 season should remain in tact. None of the bottom half teams in the Eastern Conf. improved enough to become playoff contenders, with the possible exception of the Wizards.
The top contenders will be (in no particular order): Miami, Orlando, Boston, & Atlanta. Again... + Miami, - Cleveland.
I used to be jealous of Texas for hogging up all of the powerhouse teams. And I still am. Dallas, San Antonio, and even Houston will all have great teams this season. But now it's Florida with possibly two of the best teams in the NBA.
