Thank you. I appreciate the apology aoklman. That is something that is not done around here very often.

Lighten up there aoklman, apparently I was editing while you were "contributing" nothing to the discussion.

This is a good example if where the auto suggest feature may have been helpful. Typing in a topic name as vague as is show here might show the member a link to FAQ. If the title is more specific the member could be referred to the relative section within FAQ's.

Even if you accept that some people don't know how to use the FAQ (the Frequently Asked Questions) section, wouldn't it make more sense, even to a new member, to post this thread in "Talk Back to Us" or "Just For Fun"?
Asking the question about how the points systems works doesn't seem, to me, to be a web site improvement...not unless the question was rephrased to: "How about a simple, up front explanation of how the point system works?"

Bear in mind scoutmaster... CampK forgets that we can't see the mischievous look on his face, while he emphatically lays out the "true facts"...

You just want to mow everybody down just cause you got a big ol racing strip 18 wheeler tractor.

Really? I don't mean to be insensitive but if cgsg is blind, what is he doing on a gas price web site?

Besides, I know for a fact that cgsg is blind and cannot read the FAQs. (He has a braille keyboard.) As further proof of this, although he is shown on the Boston site, he really lives in Montana and was off a tad when he clicked the GB US map.
It's true, I tell you.

Scoutmaster, give us a break, everybody learns differently, yes if properly explored the answers to most questions can be found in site help,FAQ,Topics, etc., but some people may not know how to accomplish this, and besides it may just be more fun to jump right in (which will earn points as you learn).
