I had a 1990 Ford Ranger for 11 years. I'd still have it if a semi hadn't totalled it. That SOB got a $90 ticket while I got five years of car payments.

I have 8 years plus on my current Ranger.

Ford Explorer: 1991-2012

Retired early this year when the driver and passenger door hinges were so worn out that they threatened to fall off whenever I went around corners...so off to the wreckers it went. I guess the years of towing a boat around finally took its toll on the frame...

Well let's see...oh yeah, our 1960 Ford Thunderbird, purchased near new in 1963 before getting married and it's still in the family today.

2nd frame-off restoration completed in 2005 and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor...priceless to us and will pass on to our Daughter or Son in a few more years.

I've had my Evo for 4 1/2 years, which is the longest. I'm 27 years young and the car (a 2003 model) has only 67,000 miles on it, so many more years to come!

I'm probably on the shorter end. I think the longest I've kept a car is six years.

I still have a 1964 PV 544 that I got in 1980 so that would make 32 years.
