It is really sad that now it is going under $3.00/gal that we are getting excited. Shows how quickly our points of view change.

Gasoline right now is exactly $1.50 per gallon too high for this time of the year. They are raking in profits and all the while claiming they are losing money. Right now they are in the midst of a massive "legal stealing" campaign from the consumers. It went up in this area by over .30 cents just last night while the barrel price of oil only went up by a few cents, at most.

And I'll bet that the people that buy the products your companies make or the services it sells were one third the price you're charging. Of course that's something different, right?

And if this were a cell-phone or text website, instead of a gas price posting web site, you'd be telling us that you wish the price of our cell phone or text messaging plan was one third or one quarter of what you now pay. Right?

And if this were a cable television website, instead of discussing various cable television packages, you'd be telling us that you wish the price of your NFL and sports packages, and your movie packages was one third or one quarter of what you now pay. Right?

But because this is a gas price posting website, you instead told us that you wish gas was 1 dollar.

Well, that's not realistic around most of the world, for any number of reasons that I'm sure you understand. But it's a nice dream.
